The Mind

For the devices of the mind are all evil.
The mind of the foolish wanders aimlessly about seeking only pleasure.
There is no control over the mind and neitgher is there control over the body.
The body of the foolish seeks the destruction of the mind and the temporal pleasures of the world.

What hope is there for those foolish that have turned to the unruly?
What can be said for those who have turned themselves over to this, their life?
Where is the honesty and integrity of mankind,
Has it become lost in our plight for success?

What is to be done with the undisciplined?
I say, shall we send them to the moon and let them ruin that and themselves,
Or shall we go to the moon and let them finish with the earth and themselves?
No I say, for one that is unwise makes others foolish in their thought.

For the solution I see, and the solution I know.
There can be, there will only be, there has always been, there is only One.
This One I say, who is this One, this very One, this One who is the Magnificant One?
This One again, who has always been, is right now, and will always be?

What is this I see, the birth of this One, born so low coming from so high.
Again I see, this very One to whom He could, and to whom He did astound the wise.
What now, this I see, this very One the Humble One, He is hanging high this righteous One, for you and for me.
Now I see, the crucified One, buried on Friday, arisen on Sunday,
victory for you and victory for me, victory that is, over the grave.
