God Is Love
They say, I've heard, that God is love.
They say, how can God send people to hell?
It is not so, God does not punish!
God is a God of love, this is what they've said to me.

God told me, this is what I heard.
I am a God of love, see my Son.
I am a God of holiness, see my righteous acts.
I am a God of justice, see my upright law.

My experience, this is what I know.
My God is love, so He disciplines.
My God is holy, so He separates.
My God is just, so He requires death.

This great God saw your sin and disobedience.
He knew of our deserving to die since before the beginning.
Death He knew we deserved; but sent His Son instead.
Redemption bought with a price, salvation He gave the world.
