Forever Faithful
My God, My God, I cried at home,
What will happen, what is this before me?
I have been called to enter this world of sin,
Afraid that I will forget my God above, I enter alone.

Out here, O God, you are cursed at, and your name profaned;
My attitude is wrong, O God, I am trying my best; but on my own.
I opened Your Word and read it often;
Turning to You, You picked me up.

I was afraid that I would forget You Lord;
But You showed me my predestination.
I was afraid that I would stray from You;
But You, O God, refused to let me go.

You, my Father, taught me in my ignorance;
You showed me Your inexpressible presence;
You gave me your strength and comfort without limit or price;
You remained ever faithful in Your dealings with me.

O Father, years ago You called me to You;
Months ago You called me into the world.
You brought me to a difficult path and brought me through;
I followed in your will and now I am content in Your will.

You are forever faithful - My Redeemer
