A True Friend
I first met You one night, as a young boy
Little did I know that night, that You would become a friend for life
Now I think ahead, knowing I'll have You with me through the thick and thin
A friend to share happy time with
Years to look forward to, memories to make
Thinking of what memories are special to me
A lifetime ahead to share You with others
Your carrying me through the hard times
And now looking back at the few years I've known You

But those are of the past
